Brands also tell stories
In the dynamic world of fashion, boutique footwear brands emerge as a form of expression and innovation.
It’s with these brands that we identify. We seek out projects with captivating stories that connect with their consumers on a deeper level than just the choice of what to wear on their feet.
In this article, we will show you a glimpse into the concept behind the brands featured on our website.
LAZULI
LAZULI was launched in 2014, with the mission of combining women's footwear with Portuguese tiles and their rich history.
In 2019, the brand began incorporating vegan models into its collections and since 2020, none of their models contain materials of animal origin, as they strive to use increasingly sustainable solutions.
All shoes from the brand are ethically produced in Portugal, in certified factories.
J-UNK
J-UNK was born in 2020 and is the only footwear brand in the world that uses damaged fire hoses. For every sale, they donate a part to support voluntary firefighters' humanitarian associations.
The brand incorporates the concepts of slow fashion and has the motto "Buy less, but better." For J-UNK, it's essential that their products have high quality and durability.
The models are produced in Portugal and are gender-neutral, designed to be worn by everyone.
NAE vegan shoes
NAE was founded in 2008 with the aim of making the world a more sustainable and animal-friendly place.
NAE stands for "No Animal Exploitation". The name carries the brand's mission: to propose an animal-friendly and ecological alternative to human exploitation.
The brand has vegan models for men and women, all produced in certified portuguese factories.
Algori
Algori is a gender-neutral sneaker brand founded by two young portuguese individuals raised in a family of shoemakers with over 50 years of experience.
The brand follows an ethical code, ensuring that the raw materials used in its products have the least environmental impact as possible.
Algori is influenced by urban and sporty retro vibes. The focus is making timeless sneakers with a relaxed style and cultural significance.
Each sneaker has a unique and authentic design.
Seajure
Seajure is a brand of nautical shoes for men and women, inspired by the environment in general and the sea in particular.
The models are produced in Portugal by experienced shoemakers, using quality materials to ensure the lifespan of the products is long and has less impact on the environment.
Skizo
Skizo is a gender-neutral sneaker brand that was born in 2019, with a concern for the legacy we will leave for the future generations.
The brand has a strong connection with the sea, something that is explicit in the slogan "From the ocean".
Skizo sneakers are made from plastic collected from the sea. When you buy a pair from the brand, you're recycling the equivalent of 36 plastic bottles.
The Captain Socks
The Captain believes that socks are a form of expression, a way to share interests and to show who we are to the world and we couldn't agree more.
The brand was born out of a journey along the "Caminhos de Santiago", where socks were the main theme.
In addition to socks, the brand now has vegan and gender-neutral sneakers and all the products are produced in Portugal.
